The appropriate entity may depend on the consumer's location, the place where the contract is considered to have been concluded or performed, the nature of the dispute and the territorial competence of each entity.

4. Consumer Arbitration
For consumer disputes of low economic value, Portuguese law may provide for mandatory arbitration or mediation when the consumer expressly chooses to submit the dispute to a legally authorised consumer arbitration centre.
Nothing in this notice limits the consumer's right to seek other remedies available under applicable law.
